Sustainable Textile Design

Mindfulness through Stitching Studio

My studio is the lab where I Learn, Adapt and Create.

As an art educator living in the Midwest, I’m passionate about sustainability & urban gardening, committed to maintaining a public/volunteer garden space in the downtown area where I reside with my family, for all to enjoy.

In all workshops, I encourage sustainability as a way to build confidence and community, with a back-to-basics approach and consciousness about resource use/waste.

I focus on the perfectly imperfect aspects of discovery by exploring tools & techniques that induce experimentation, as a means to living a satisfying, creative life. Creating with purpose and intention and teaching others to embrace their individual, creative paths, can be the starting point to a transformative future.
